At NIHBcounselling.ca, we offer compassionate, trauma-informed counselling for individuals and families impacted by the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and gender-diverse people.
This care is fully covered under federally funded MMIWG Health Support Services and is provided in a culturally safe, confidential, and respectful environment. You do not have to face this pain alone—support is available for you and your family.
Who Is Eligible for Free Counselling?
You may receive free mental health counselling through this program if you are:
A family member or close loved one of a Missing or Murdered Indigenous Woman, Girl, or gender-diverse person
A survivor of gender-based violence
A First Nations or Inuit person with or without Treaty Status
We will support you in confirming eligibility and walk you through the next steps—no referral or out-of-pocket costs required.
